Lisa was born in New Jersey and grew up between there and Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas, she embarked on a twelve year adventure of working and traveling around the world. Lisa visited over 27 countries across 5 continents before settling down back in the U.S.
Lisa is now the mother of two daughters and has been involved with Waldorf Education since 2006 when her oldest joined the nursery at the Sarasota Waldorf School in Florida. Since then, Lisa has assisted in the nursery, taught First and Second Grade both at the Sarasota Waldorf School and in a homeschooling setting, running her own Waldorf Early Childhood Program from her home. As an early childhood educator, Lisa’s goal is to provide an atmosphere of loving warmth and guidance that promotes joy, wonder and reverence in our children. Apart from her love for children, her passions include needle felting, cooking, camping, yoga, and of course, traveling.
