Join us for the May Faire on Saturday and celebrate the arrival of spring with songs and dances performed by our students and families! https://bvwaldorf.org/happymayday/
Historically, May Day celebrations were to honor the changing of the seasons, from darkness to light, and that a tree (the symbol of the “tree of life” and of the great strength and vitality of nature) was used in the ritual. The May Faire is a joyful colorful festival of spring. Unlike Halloween, its polar opposite (the festival of death), May Day brings with it the promise of rebirth and the retuning of spring.
Performers arrive at 9:30. Precession begins 9:45 Spring Dances 10-11am Food Trucks & Fair Games (11am-12:30pm)
