
KRISTIN BROWN 2nd Grade Teacher 2022-23
Kristin seeks to invigorate children’s learning from the inside out with a balanced and compassionate approach to teaching. Kristin uses her love of music and the arts to inspire students to reach beyond their potential. A Colorado native who grew up in Aurora, her adventures keep bringing her back to Boulder! She adapts quickly to the many different learning styles with a flexible yet firm approach in connecting with students and families. She has worked in Waldorf education with elementary children and in preschool and kindergarten programs.

Kristin has followed her passion for education and working with children. First working through music and movement as a music teacher and in arts camps where she engaged the community through costuming, art, acting, voice, movement. She has educated and supported families from pregnancy through birth as a birth doula. As Kristin experienced Waldorf methodologies, she began her work with younger children in early childhood programming before finding her ideal age group in the elementary Waldorf Grades program. Kristin enjoys spending her free time in garden design, permaculture, writing and cooking.
