Haley Farrell – Early Childhood Director

Haley Farrell joins BVWS with much experience in early childhood education. Her favorite part of being a director is getting to be a part of all of the children’s day to day lives and building partnerships with parents. Haley firmly believes that we wouldn’t be what we are without the amazing teachers that put their heart into their jobs every day and loves being there to support this important work. Haley has worked in childcare for over 11 years. She has taught internationally in China as well as locally in Colorado. She has a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University. She started out as a preschool teacher and has worked in every classroom including being an INS in an infant room and in the past three years as Center Director.

Haley has always been very interested in Waldorf educational philosophy and is excited to learn more as she prepares to lead at BVWS. I am excited to learn more about Waldorf as my educational background focused on child development. Haley recognizes that Waldorf philosophy is heavily focused on teaching to the child at every level of their development. When not at work, Haley and her family take every opportunity to be in the mountains camping or hiking. With a love of nature, they are big promoters of the Leave No Trace philosophy and try to leave every site better than they find it.
