Scott Barnes – 5th Grade Class Teacher 2025

Scott is an enthusiastic and lifelong learner. A common thread through his life has been the pursuit of the wonders of science as seen through children’s eyes! He looks forward to guiding and inspiring a new group of middle school students in their transition from elementary to high schoolers. 

Scott is a dedicated teacher thrilled to once again be working with the adolescent learners. His wife, Ms. Lambo-Barnes, is a elementary teacher here, and Waldorf education has been a staple in their home for years. With his gentle and unassuming presence, Scott led the BVWS class of 2025 as their 6th, 7th, 8th grade class teacher. Scott previously taught high school math, English, and computer science in local waldorf programs. He has also worked in the field of graphic design and I.T..
