Lyudmila Ginley – Marigold Preschool Teacher 2025-26

Lyudmila joins the BVWS preschool team with seven years of early childhood teaching experience (from birth to age 6) and several more years in educating older students. Most recently Lyudmila was a lead classroom teacher at the Commerce Children Center at the NOAA/NIST facility in Boulder. There she worked with infants using the Conscious Discipline methodology which focuses on the social-emotional development of children and provided her with the skills to help support her young students in discovering themselves as open-minded beings.

Lyudmila has a diverse background of teaching adults, older students and young children in a variety of settings including US Peace Corps cross-cultural facilitation, library education workshops, Hebrew and Judaica children’s activities and community education, and foreign language teaching. Lyudmila Ginley started her career as a cross-cultural facilitator and language teacher in her home country of Kazakhstan. Luda has increasingly focused on early childhood education, specifically with a focus on preschool. Ever since she heard of the Waldorf philosophy, Lyudmila has seen teaching at a Waldorf school. When working with young children, Lyudmila weaves traditional stories, songs and puppet shows. She loves the holistic approach of Waldorf education and is thrilled to be employing more developmental-based activities as part of her classroom offerings. Together with the Early Childhood faculty and BVWS mentor and coach, Lyudmila is excited to provide an exceptional Waldorf preschool play-based programming here for many years to come. She continues to explore her passion as a teacher by building deep connection with her students and the community. She loves art and volunteers at the Tinker Art studio and has a passion for dance, languages, and mythology.
